Speaking at AWS Community Day Hong Kong 2026 on what AgentCore actually gives you
On 24 October I am speaking at AWS Community Day Hong Kong 2026, at IVE (Lee Wai Lee). The session is From Prototype to Production: What Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Actually Gives You.
The thing that decides whether an agent survives contact with production is not the model. It is the five things around it: where it runs, how it calls tools safely, how it remembers across turns, who it is allowed to act as, and how you debug it at 3am.
Amazon Bedrock AgentCore ships a managed primitive for each of those: Runtime, Gateway, Memory, Identity, Observability. The session walks all five, the failure mode each one maps to, and where the managed offering runs out.
That last part is the argument. Most people building agents today have already hand-built some version of a tool gateway, scoped memory, an identity boundary, or execution isolation. The useful question is which of those are worth handing over, and which are worth keeping in-house.
Registration and the full agenda are open at awscommunity.hk.
